So yeah... um... yeah.

I've been making random models for a while now, but I haven't really done anything I would put up here.

There's a reason though...

There's a pic in my gallery called Singing Glory. For those that have seen the pic, they'll know about how my character in the background is playing a strange keytar-like instrument.

A pic I had made recently gave me more of an idea of how guitars are proportioned, and I updated the instrument's model. I even made a short animation (without sound) of my character strumming it. I then showed this to my friends.

One of them, Breaker, made his familiar "Needs more Breaker" comment.

I had been watching stupid flash animations earlier.

Something clicked.


I am now in the beginning stages of making a Dueling Banjos animation featuring Space and Breaker.

I'm still in the process of assembling resources and creating the necessary models (in a recent IRC chat, Breaker mentioned groupies, which opened up some cameo spots*, which meant more work), plus there's the occasional break to clear my creative process, but it's going rather well. (Currently having a bit of a block with one character... Hedgehog spines aren't that easy to work with.) I've got a nice Green Hill Zone themed stage, though, complete with animated flowers.



Getting it all together, managing all the characters, syncing it up... It's going to be hell. And the full rendering of the final animation is gonna take hours.
